Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated  Applications Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems and components for a variety of applications. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering departments to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into final products.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems and components.
  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and applications engineering.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuit design, and power distribution.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, or similar tools) for electrical design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
