Job Description:

Position Summary: Kemper Therapy Group is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and feeding disorders in a diverse client population. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and have a strong desire to help clients achieve their full communication potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients with speech, language, and feeding disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
  • Use evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, effective therapy.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to support treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and families regarding speech and language development and strategies for support.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
  • Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines as established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.
