New Description:

Position Summary: Kemper Therapy Group is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders in diverse clients. We seek a compassionate professional committed to delivering evidence-based care to help clients reach their communication potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations and assessments for clients with speech, language, and feeding disorders.
  • Create and execute customized treatment plans based on individual needs and objectives.
  • Deliver therapy to clients of all ages, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate treatment progress.
  • Maintain accurate client records following clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on client development and document progress.
  • Provide education and support to clients and families on speech and language development.
  • Participate in team meetings, continued education, and mentor SLPAs as required.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines from ASHA and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP licensure in South Carolina.
  • ASHA's CCC certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in pediatric or adult clinical settings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Respect for client confidentiality and professional ethics.
