Position: Multifamily Flooring Account Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the multifamily sector, including property managers, contractors, and developers.
  2. Sales: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their flooring needs, and offering suitable solutions from our diverse range of products.
  3. Consultative Selling: Provide expert advice on flooring options, trends, and installation processes to help clients make informed decisions that align with their requirements and budget.
  4. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates to clients on project status.
  5. Project Management: Collaborate with the internal team to coordinate product orders, scheduling, and installation to ensure smooth project execution.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, product advancements, and competitive offerings to effectively position our company as a market leader.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details, generating reports as required by the management team.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Sales experience in the flooring industry or multifamily industry preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of multifamily flooring products, installation techniques, and industry standards. Familiarity with the STL market and its multifamily sector is advantageous.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and articulate product features and benefits.
  4. Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management is essential.
  5. Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships based on trust and reliability.
  6. Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including project managers, installers, and support staff, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  7. Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools to manage sales activities, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
