Job Responsibilities:In this school district, your duties as a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will include: Close collaboration with SLPs to serve students with speech and language issues.
- Help establish the requirements of students requiring speech and language therapy by completing exams.
- Under the direction of an SLP, carry out customized therapy regimens.
- Offer students immediate assistance with speech and language therapy.
- Work together to support the educational objectives of kids with educators, parents, and other experts.
- Keep thorough records of your students' progress and session notes.
- Participate fully in sessions for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) by showing up.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Preferred previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to assisting in students achievement.
