**Position Overview:**
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in La Mesa, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students succeed academically and socially, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant school meetings.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on speech and language development strategies.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
