Responsible for performing calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment throughout all Manufacturing and Research operations. This position impacts upon the accuracy of the company's measurement and process equipment, and subsequent product quality and is essential to meeting Quality Systems Requirements and other compliance requirements. The Calibration Technician performs precise calibrations per written and automated procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule. On equipment that cannot be maintained internally, coordinates the calibration with a certified outside source. Maintains clear and concise records to facilitate timely problem identification, development of department procedures, and to comply with internal and external regulations. Education min. – High School Diploma / GED or associate's degree (an equivalent combination of education and work experience, too) Experience min. – 0-3 years of related work experience. Top 5 skills/requirements - ISO17025 knowledge Metrology background Calibration background Purchase Order experience Communication skills with external vendors skillset that complimented the role- Attention to Detail, Usage of Equipment Tracking System, Metrology background (dimensional, electronic, mechanical) Confirm interview preferences: phone for first interview screen with manager; onsite for a second interview with employees and face-to-face with the manager.
