The Radiology Department is a specialty medical service that offers a wide range of imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions.
Our licensed Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. This technologist must be able to produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations.
- 3 years of Mammography experience for Sr level. More than 5 years of Mammography Exp for Prin. level
- ARRT (M) or CRT (M) Mammography Certification
- ARRT (R) or CRT (R) Radiology License
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
- Requires proof of mammography – specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
- Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
- Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU’s in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36-month calendar).
- Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
Salary Description
Up to $194k annually
