Job DescriptionJob Description

dormakaba is seeking a third shift (9:30PM – 6:00AM) Machinist II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary.

Hourly hiring range: $23/hr. - $25/hr. plus $.75/hr. shift differential and mandatory overtime as needed.

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Operate machine according to standard operating instructions
  • Load stock for the production of component parts
  • Safely monitor and maintain equipment
  • Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP)
  • Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive machine operating experience, performing setups and tool changes, etc.
  • Understanding of shop math, blueprint reading/comprehension and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to perform advanced quality inspections
