Job Description: As the Digital Content Manager at pipette.com, you will be responsible for driving strategic marketing communications initiatives to enhance our online presence and engage our target audience effectively. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute digital content strategies to promote our products and services, establish thought leadership in scientific trends, and reinforce our brand positioning. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, strong project management skills, and a passion for delivering compelling content that resonates with our audience. We’ll even leverage your on-camera skills to a degree, ensuring that we bring personality and life to our products and services and how they help science. 
Key Responsibilities:
Web Communications:

Manage and optimize website content to ensure a seamless user experience and drive conversion.
Collaborate with web development teams to implement enhancements and updates as needed.
Email Strategy:

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote products, and drive engagement.
Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for effectiveness.
Content Marketing:

Create and curate engaging content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, and videos, to showcase our products and expertise.
Develop content calendars and strategies to align with marketing objectives and target audience interests.
Geographic Domination:

Implement targeted marketing campaigns tailored to specific geographic regions to maximize market penetration and customer acquisition.
Optimize landing pages and content for local SEO to enhance visibility in key markets such as San Diego, San Francisco, Ohio, Massachusetts, etc.
Implement strategies to highlight brand presence and competitive advantages in each location and provide air cover for our sales organization and physical investments in geographic operations.
Scientific Trends and Value Content:

Research and stay abreast of scientific trends and industry developments to produce value-driven, non-promotional content. Working to take our brand from promotions-heavy, and drive inspiring value worth following is key.
Highlighting themes such as sustainability, cost savings, subscription models, and contractual benefits to resonate with our audience will be key drivers of this initiative.
Collaborate with product and service teams to address customer needs but delivering high quality video, driving engagement in all phases of the sales funnel.
Calibration Positioning Overhaul:

Lead the overhaul of calibration positioning, emphasizing scientific expertise, warranty offerings, training resources, and accreditation.
Develop content assets, including videos, infographics, and case studies, to communicate the value proposition effectively.
Maintain calibration pages by brand serviced, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for customers.
Process and Technical Content:

Create informative content explaining processes, such as lab operations and equipment refurbishments, through video demonstrations and "how it works" guides.
Develop technical content comparing onsite pricing and services to those of competing laboratories.
Human-First Marketing:

Identify opportunities to highlight our people, telling stories of career longevity, growth, promotions, and expansions of expertise.
Connect with customers and prospective employees, working with management to create resources that highlight Pipette.com as an attractive career choice where we balance support and high expectations to achieve great things

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or a degree in another area, where you’ve made a significant career pivot and have shown impact 
Experience in the life sciences, calibration service, or laboratory supplies industry is critical for technical success in this role. What you may lack in career longevity may be made up for significantly by knowledge of our customers and their instrumentation and applications. 
Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in content management strategies, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools is key. We run our organization principally on HubSpot, so you should think through the lens of maximizing this investment while adopting new tools as we encounter them.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends.
