Software Engineer 3 R&D

The Information Technology team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top financial organization that has an opening for a Software Engineer 3 R&D role.
Below is some information about an immediate opportunity for which you might be interested:
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $68/HR - $73/HR on W2
Type: 12 months Contract (with possible extension)
Description:
- You will design and build applications for the Android platform
- You’ll implement requirements on Android apps, write and update design documents
- We’ll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
- You’ll interface with software tests to ensure a high-quality product
- Develop automated unit and integration tests
- You’ll participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership
- You will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability
- Attend all Scrum ceremonies and participate as a key member of the team
MUST HAVE:
- Java and Kotlin
- Design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
- Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
