Qualification:
B.E/M.Tech in Mechanical
Experience:
8 to 10 Years
Location:
San Diego, CA (Day one Onsite)
Skills
Strong in Machine Design / R&D Design experience
Strong in tooling/fixture design
Good understanding of fixture concepts and working principles of common OEMs like bearings, gearboxes, toggles, slides, etc.
Capable of owning project delivery completely (from concept to release)
Good knowledge of Material Selection, Machining and Fabrication processes, and post-processing operations.
Thorough knowledge in calculations to define structures/loads and choose the right OEMs and their accessories in the market (e.g., Linear Guides, Motors, gearboxes, bearings, etc.).
Proficient in creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerances with GD&T.
Proficient in UG NX is a must and have Teamcenter experience.
Awareness of Manufacturing techniques.
Hydraulics or pneumatics knowledge will be an added advantage.
Semiconductor Industry background is an added advantage.
