PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of Precision Metal Components in Elgin, IL.

We are now hiring a CNC Maintenance Mechanic who is a team player, versatile, and dependable

Pay Rate: $35/hr

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

CNC Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary:

  • Completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Repair electrical wiring on CNC Machines
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

CNC Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of working as an industrial maintenance mechanic with knowledge of electrical wiring
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Proper and safe use of hand, power, and pneumatic tools
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience
  • Excellent writing, reading and verbal communication in English
  • Read and understanding of blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
