Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Risk Manager for a global non-profit organization  you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's financial stability and sustainability by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's financial assets and resources.
  2. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization's financial health, such as market volatility, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical risks.
  3. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
  4. Monitoring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and best practices related to financial risk management.
  5. Developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact on the organization.
  6. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management and the Board of Directors on the organization's risk profile and mitigation efforts.
  7. Staying informed about global economic trends, industry developments, and emerging risks that could affect the organization's financial stability.
  8. Conducting risk awareness training and education sessions for staff members to build a culture of risk awareness and responsibility.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in financial risk management, with experience working non-profit organization or a related field. A solid understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies is essential. Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills are also key requirements for this role.
