Key Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Supervision:

    • Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, updates, and safety procedures.

  2. Inventory Management:

    • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
    • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures.
    • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and order fulfillment.

  3. Operational Efficiency:

    • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to enhance productivity and accuracy.
    • Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and storage to maximize space and streamline operations.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and training to minimize workplace hazards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

  5. Quality Control:

    • Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or defective goods.

  6. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other relevant data.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, performance metrics, and inventory status.

  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to apply innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Current Forklift certification 
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
