POSITION: Fleet Detailer/ Truck Washer
Our Fleet Detailers/ Truck Washers have important roles at Star Nursery. They are responsible for maintaining the professional image of our logoed company vehicles. This position requires a Valid Driver’s License in order to operate/drive our Truck Washing Vehicle.
Position Details
- Maintain our Fleet of Truck and Trailers to ensure cleanliness to our standards
- Work Under own supervision
- A friendly, courteous, and professional attitude required
- Excellent defensive driving skills and safe driving techniques.
- Maintain Power Washing Equipment / supplies / chemicals
- Travel to other Stores to detail vehicles
- Must be physically capable and willing to work safely
- Must be willing to work in hot/dry/weather for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Acceptable Driver’s Abstract for the position
- Tues – Sat . Hours will be discussed.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience Detailing vehicles.
Must be safety minded
Must work well with others as well as independently
Attention to Detail/ Fastidious
Additional information:
Full Time
The work requires moderate-heavy physical exertion
Applicants must be physically fit and be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50 lbs.

We offer a complete line of dry goods that include the largest inventory of Irrigation Supplies, Fertilizers, and an array of gardening accessories and tools. We carry an excellent assortment of trees, shrubbery, drought-tolerant plants, succulents, houseplants and more. We, also have a vast selection of hardscape products ranging from beautiful flagstone to concrete pavers to decorative rock.
Our customers find everything needed to create and maintain a beautiful landscape or garden space. We pride ourselves in giving our customers the right price and the best advice.
In addition, we have a full functioning trucking/transportation division with a large fleet of heavy trucks as well as heavy equipment, maintained by our own fleet maintenance department with on-site fully operational maintenance shop.
