Job DescriptionJob Description

One position available. 12hr night shift. 7pm to 7am.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns. Provide timely and quality service.
  • Communicate work orders and assist management in resolving problems.
  • Ensure work orders issued are closed in time with customer SLA’s.
  • Maintain and check the accuracy of completed paperwork submitted by vendors and contractors.
  • Train vendors and contractors on data center work rules and procedures.
  • Monitor BMS systems and respond to alarm conditions as needed.
  • Building walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilities.
  • Investigate faults, identify causes, and effect remedies.
  • Prepare accurate / timely reports as required. File all reports and documents as needed.
  • Manage contractors and all who perform work in the data center. Ensure all work is carried out in line with procedures approved by the change management system.
  • Conduct inspections of the facility and act on findings identified during the inspections.
  • Log helpdesk calls for contractor faults and required improvements.
  • Escalate urgent issues to the proper person or team.
  • Continually communicate with end users, customers, and management team with updates to any pertinent information as necessary.
  • Work with and support other members of the Facility Management team.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Additional Qualification Requirements

  • MUST be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • MUST pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and participate in random screens during employment.
  • Diploma. Trade school and college education is a plus.
  • Experience in data center environment and work procedures is a plus.
  • Self-starter. Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent PC and MS office skills are essential.
  • Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent contract/vendor management skills.
  • Good communication skills at all levels.
