Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Manager to join our team. As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing company policies around data management. We will rely on you to ensure the accuracy of our data and to optimize the organization of our data. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and a passion for data. Need familiarity with nonprofit operations, donor nurturing, and campaign development and management. 
Responsibilities 
  • Develop and enforce effective data management policies
  • Create procedures for data collection that ensure accurate and legitimate data
  • Create company-wide best practices for data sharing within the company and with external partners
  • Educate and support colleagues in data management best practices
  • Document any breaches in data protection and report on consequences
  • Review and stay up-to-date on best practices in data management
  • Campaign creation and support for navigation to the website 
  • Understand the nonprofit programs of the organization to relate data management to each program
Qualifications
  • Training in data development, collection, categorization, and maintenance of data  
  • Previous experience as a Data Manager or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong understanding of data collection and analysis
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
