GAME DAY Bar & Grill (Sports Bar/Family Restaurant)

KITCHEN MANAGER. Looking to hire the right individual who can be a Team Leader to help run the Kitchen and Managed Staff. At least 3-4 years Kitchen Management experience or more is a must.

Summary: Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares food by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed, safely and efficiently.
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
  • Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings.
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare all served food.
  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours.
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions.
  • Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in teams. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.

Pay: $15-$22 Per Hour

Shift Hours: 7-8 Hour Shifts

Restaurant Type: Sports Bar/Family Restaurant-Casual Dining

WEEKDAY SHIFTS Wednesdays & Thursdays Day 11am-6pm or Night 5:30pm-1am.

WEEKEND SHIFTS Fridays 11am-6pm or 5:30pm-1am, Saturdays 11am-6pm or 5:30pm-1am, Sundays 11am-6pm or 5:30PM-12am.

Education: High School or Equivalent and or Above
