Job DescriptionJob Description

Viking Solar is seeking a dynamic and motivated Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This role involves engaging with homeowners, educating them on the benefits of solar energy, and guiding them through the process of transitioning to a more sustainable energy solution.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers in designated territories to discuss the advantages of solar energy.
  • Clearly communicate the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy systems, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and help homeowners understand the financial incentives, rebates, and financing options available.
  • Generate leads through direct interaction, referrals, and community engagement activities.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with potential customers to answer additional questions, provide further information, and close sales.
  • Accurately document customer information and sales progress using CRM tools

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in door-to-door sales is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Basic understanding of solar energy systems and the renewable energy sector is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain positive and enthusiastic.
