Electromechanical Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing automatic and semi-automatic packaging equipment (including pallet wrappers, shrink and bundling equipment, printers and label applicators)
- Troubleshooting/repairing automatic and semi-automatic machines in house and in customer facilities (pneumatics, electrical and mechanical trouble shooting)
- Assist with equipment preparation prior to shipment and delivery
- Complete and submit service reports at the end of each week as well as other documentation such as mileage and credit card receipts
- Complete ongoing training as necessary relevant to duties and equipment
- Travel as required, mostly in the Tri-state area. Occasional travel out of state.
- Maintain Company Vehicle and other company property such as tools as per policy
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Two-three years’ experience with electromechanical machinery. We will provide training specific to the machinery we sell and maintain.
- Previous experience with both the mechanical and electrical side of installation and troubleshooting
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 and multiple software systems
- Desire to work in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
- Ability to work with other departments and trades in a “team environment”
- Capacity to follow complex written and verbal instruction with limited supervision
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve on a case-by-case basis under pressure
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License
