Highland Crossing is seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various automotive issues. The Auto Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are safe and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose automotive problems efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair and replace worn or defective parts on vehicles, including brakes, tires, engines, and transmissions.
- Conduct AC charging and ensure proper functioning of the vehicle’s air conditioning system.
- Perform road calls and provide roadside assistance as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
- Be able to Replace & Rebuild Engines & Transmissions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Capacity to stand, crouch, and sit for extended periods.
