1st and 2nd Shift Available:

1st Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm M-F

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm M-F

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day performance of tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Responsible for operation of any equipment as directed.
  • Responsible for adhering to INNOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS GROUP safety policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for making efficient use of available resources, (i.e., own labour time, equipment)
  • Responsible for identification of continuous improvement opportunities and bringing any opportunities to attention of Supervisor.
  • Responsible for routine maintenance of equipment and building in INNOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS GROUP production area as directed.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain effective relationships with other employees, other departments and customers/vendors as appropriate.
  • Effective use of own time and resources.
  • Effective, timely completion of INNOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS GROUP tasks as directed by Supervisor.
  • Notify Supervisor of any unsafe conditions or equipment, including equipment needing maintenance.

DETailed Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and plant equipment.
  • Lead maintenance projects/ deal with breakdowns in timely matter.
  • Troubleshoot repairs, install parts with a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical machines, levelling and calibration.
  • Will be required to work on facility related issues.
  • Troubleshoot PLC controllers, servo drives, operate interface devices, motors.
  • Dismantle and assemble equipment, tools, and machines for repair.
  • Conduct and perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance; inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect/ investigate malfunctions.
  • Participate in training and meetings as directed by Supervisor.
  • Provide effective feedback and follow up to any production related ISO procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVE

  • Experience with operation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge and compliance with Health and Safety (OSHA), WHMIS, and Local Electrical Codes.
  • PLC experience
  • Knowledge to trouble shoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
  • Able to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings. drawings
  • Operate Lathes and Grinders, Hand Tools, and Pneumatic tools.
  • Knowledge of compressed air, hydraulics, forklifts, plumbing and other general-purpose equipment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written (English).
  • Able to use good judgment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize.

WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE one or all of:

  • Experience with automated paint equipment (robots & or reciprocators)
  • Experience with automatic washing systems and chemical balancing for waste disposal
