Responsibilities:

  • Engage in and support clients’ participation in activities that improve their health and life quality.
  • Formulate and implement tailored occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate clients and families on adapting their homes and lifestyles to meet their needs.
  • Keep accurate records of patient care and monitor progress towards treatment goals.
  • Be familiar with billing and coding practices related to occupational therapy.
  • Work as an integral part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy models, methods, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid occupational therapy license in Texas.
  • BS degree or higher in occupational therapy.
  • Experience in marketing therapy services is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in billing and coding for occupational therapy.
  • Strong computer technical skills to navigate through Jane EMR, Teams, Microsoft software apps and other necessary computer software to complete the job as occupational therapist.
  • Willing to work with both children and adults
