Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field plus five years-related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education and work experience. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, have strong computer skills; strong accounting knowledge and accounting experience and reporting.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing, planning and documenting both bookkeeping and costing processes; financial analysis and reporting, as well as providing financial guidance and direction to program directors and other special projects as assigned.

 

essential Tasks AND REQUIREMENTS

·         Provides budget technical assistance and information to the executive staff, senior administrators, program directors, delegate agencies, and other appropriate staff on both a routine and as-needed basis.

·         Assists in the oversight of fiscal management of programs.

·         Review monthly and quarterly financial reports to assist executive staff in the financial management of programs.

·         Allocates payroll charges for the entire agency.

·         Directs and assists in the allocation of various agency-wide expenditures.

·         Completes the revenue and expense reports prior to the audit for all programs.

·         Provides information and documentation with the agency audit when needed.

·         Prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports for various programs.

·         Maintain knowledge of and ensure fiscal adherence of program regulations to federal and state contracts

·         Must understand agency programs and issues involved with program fiscal operations.

·         Responsible for preparing and distributing requests for monies due to agency from various sources.

·         Attends meetings and/or training workshops as required.

·         Develops reports and recommendations for executive consideration

Prepares balance sheets and income statements on a regular basis that are used for internal operational reporting.
