C Squared Systems is currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Applicants must possess strong technical aptitude, have a customer oriented disposition and be comfortable working with deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware applications, or to improve its performance and support existing code and databases
- Develop new code and database structures, in accordance with internal software development procedures, to meet the unique needs of the customer
- Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration
- Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation
- Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Consult with internal customers in Sales and Business Development about software system design and maintenance
- Produce customer reports in MS Excel
- Multi-task projects on a day-to-day basis
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience/education combination with 3-5 years' experience Angular 8, TypeScript, MySQL Database and REST API
- Strong Command line Linux skills
- Strong database design and queries skills
- Understanding of network monitoring software with regard to data transfer
- Knowledge of the practical application of software engineering and technology and have the ability to apply principals, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and development process
- Strong mathematic and troubleshooting skills- to solve problems, determine causes of operating errors and implement solutions
- Strong deductive reasoning skills
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to meet deadlines, work additional hours and be on call when needed
- Strong English communication skills required. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
