JOB SUMMARY:
The Physician Assistant is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
WE OFFER OUR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS:
- Great earning potential which includes a base salary plus a lucrative bonus plan - earn up to $200k/year
- Ability to see an average of 18-20 patients/day

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Outpatient medical consultation services under supervision of a physician in our medical office.
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient's medical conditions.
- Conducting follow-up patient care.
- Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results.
- Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate.
- Answering emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Administer and order drugs for patients.
- Complete all notes/tasks in patient's EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed.
- Perform patient physicals.
- Providing health education to patients and families.
- Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master's in Nursing
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Current APRN licensure in Georgia
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Clinical experience in Family Practice preferred
