Physical Security Field Engineer

Kituwah Services LLC is seeking a Physical Security Field Engineer to provide and/or manage a broad range of physical security engineering, design solutions and related services for external and internal clients. Travel to customer sites and conduct site surveys as required to develop the project scope of work, bill-of-material, pricing of labor, materials and ODC's.
The Opportunity
This position is a remote or hybrid position, but at a minimum must live in continental US within one (1) hour from a Primary Airport as defined by the FAA that has more than 10,000 passenger boarding each year.
As the Physical Security Field Engineer, you'll be responsible for five (5) areas including:
- Presales Engineering
- Project Management
- Physical Security and Infrastructure Design
- Estimating / Take Offs
- Proposals, Security Assessments and Reports
Responsibilities:
- Maintain project status information and metrics on multiple related projects.
- Provide reports to company management concerning cost, timeline, scope and deliverables
- Develop project plans based on industry best practices and methodologies as defined by PMI and BICSI
- Establish and maintain project punch list, documentation, close-out and delivery per company's SOP's
- Design Delivery: Coordinate project related design drawings with CAD department to ensure timely completion of project design drawings
- Estimating/Take offs: Use site survey, scope of work, performance work statement, blueprints, project plans and client interviews to identify and document factors that affect cost and selling price such as labor, materials, and production time
- Proposal Writing, Assessment and Report Writing: Develop and deliver responses to customer Request for Proposals/Quotes, solution proposals, sales quotations, and contract Statements of Work (SOW)
Experience:
- One of the following are required: 1) BICSI RCDD, 2) ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- or Physical Security Professional (PSP), ESA Certified Security Systems Integrator (CSSI).
- Proven record of producing detailed, accurate electronic security systems and supporting network infrastructure designs
- Five plus years of physical security design and estimating experience
- Five plus years of Project Management Experience
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work on several design projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Functional knowledge of PC systems and basic operating systems as well as MS Office Suite programs.
- Functional knowledge of electronic access control, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection and basic Ether/IP network operation and equipment.
- BICSI RTPM or PMI PMP are desired but not mandatory.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess a valid driver’s license.
