Job Title: Head of Product

 

Overview:

EdVisorly is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to lead our product development and strategy. As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for creating and executing a vision for our product that aligns with our company's mission and goals. You will lead a team of product managers and work closely with our engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure the success of our product. Key Responsibilities:

 

- Develop and execute a product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall mission and goals

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers to ensure the successful development and launch of new products and features

- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards

- Conduct market research and gather feedback from users to identify pain points, trends, and opportunities for product improvements

- Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs and company goals

- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and improvements

- Coordinate and communicate product releases and updates with all stakeholders, including sales and customer support teams

- Monitor and analyze product performance, usage data, and user feedback to make data-driven decisions and drive product improvements

- Stay on top of industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure that our product remains innovative and competitive

- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding product strategy, progress, and results

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products, preferably in the education or technology industry

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to create and execute a product vision and strategy

- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team

- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Passion for education and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the industry

- Experience working with agile and lean software development methodologies

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience with market research, user testing, and gathering product feedback

- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business goals into product features and improvements

 Salary: $38.000 to $53,000 yearly
