We are looking for a Multi-Family Pest Control Technician, to join our 5 person strong team. Licensed is ideal but we can work with you. Our ideal candidate is personable, self-motivated, great work ethic and cooperative, as well as comfortable working unsupervised and independently. Compensation is based on experience.
The position that we are offering is full time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (or until your route is completed). Our Technicians are provided with company vehicles, equipment and training. MUST have a clean driving record to drive company vehicles and clear background check prior to employment.
Multi-Family Pest Control Technician duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: inspecting, identifying, and implementing pest control solutions in multi-family residential properties to ensure a safe and pest-free environment for residents. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, applying appropriate treatment methods, and educating residents on pest prevention measures.
- Conduct regular inspections of multi-family residential properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and conducive conditions.
- Implement pest control strategies and treatment plans tailored to specific pest species and property requirements.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and document pest activity, treatment applications, and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Communicate with property management staff and residents to address pest-related concerns and provide recommendations for pest prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of pest control services.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in pest control techniques and safety protocols.
- Uphold company policies and standards of professionalism, customer service, and environmental stewardship.
- Prior experience in pest control or related field is advantageous. Knowledge of common pests, their behavior, and effective treatment methods. Familiarity with pest control equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform inspection and treatment tasks in various indoor and outdoor environments.
