Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications in C++ and perform analysis using Python and/or MATLAB
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions

- Generate software specifications based on customer and or specific radar applications
- Support the generation of software design documentation: Software Development Plan, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Document, Version Description Document
- Integrate and test radar subsystem hardware & software, to include developing integration and test plans, performing subsystem and system level performance testing, and supporting site integration and test activities
- Support implementation and mitigation of cybersecurity protocols and RMF controls.
- Provide on-site radar engineering and operations support (to both land and shipboard systems).
- Potential for travel up to 25%
Requirements:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; NON-US Citizens cannot be considered
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software or electrical engineering, or related STEM field
- 1+ years of relevant experience in software development in an object-oriented language(s)
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) for building robust and scalable applications, numerical computing, analysis, and algorithm development: C, C#, C++, Python
- Competency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Familiarity with government contract work, understanding the requirements, compliance, and documentation involved
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into efficient software solutions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and proactive mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing, and analyzing real-time radar systems/subsystem software, modeling and simulation, including knowledge of signal processing techniques, data analysis, and algorithm implementation in government contract environments
- Development experience in object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and general network message handling/processing experience
- Familiarity with software development practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies
