Via Tuscany Apartments is a gated luxury apartment community with 280 units. We are looking for a full time experienced Maintenance Technician. The property was built in 2001 and renovated in 2019. This position requires weekend & on-call availability. Appliance experience and HVAC Universal Certification is required. Applicant must be fluent in English and bilingual candidates are preferred.

The Maintenance Technician must be able to assist our residents in a friendly, professional manner. They must be a team player and work well under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and the Community Manager.

We are looking for a candidate who is well-organized, can work with minimum supervision, has the ability to prioritize work, and has a strong sense of customer service when dealing with residents.

Specific Maintenance Technician responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:

  • Completing all maintenance requests assigned on a daily basis
  • Assisting the Service Manager in punches and other tasks as needed
  • Turning in all maintenance requests to the Service Manager at the end of the day during which the work was completed and informing the Service Manager of any matters which need attention
  • Maintenance projects as needed
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by Community Manager
  • Performing other tasks or requests consistent with fulfilling company objectives
  • Taking after hours emergency on call, monthly rotation, nights and weekends
