Circuit Works Corporation was founded in 1989 and is a family owned, privately held company. We are an Electronic Contract Manufacturing Company that offers our clients flexibility of a small firm with the latest technology and stability that our industry offers. We are looking for a Jr. Documentation Analyst to join our team in our Waukegan, IL facility. We have two facilities, one located in Waukegan, IL and one located in Agua Prieta, Mexico, southeast of Tucson, AZ.
BROAD FUNCTION
Responsible for the creation and control of all documentation relating to building a product. Assigns manufacturing processes to new jobs, creates / updates Bills of Operation and other manufacturing documents.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
1. Determines workflow to create Bills of Operation.
2. Creates / maintains graphical documentation assembly / inspection instructions.
3. Verifies documentation by participating in on line production builds with Coordinator or Team Captain.
4. Creates / maintains Master Manufacturing Folder.
5. Creates / maintains manufacturing folders.
6. Creates / maintains CWC part numbering system.
7. Enters Bills of Material.
8. Creates prints.
9. Responds to manufacturing problems / communication notices.
10. Incorporates Deviation Notices and Engineering Change Notices into documentation.
11. Participates in product transfer meetings and provides required assembly documentation for effective transfer of knowledge for assembling products in other plants.
12. Follows Company policies, procedures and instructions.
13. May be asked to prioritize daily duties in absence of Engineering Manager.
14. Any additional tasks that may be requested by the Engineering Manager.
EDUCATION LEVEL, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to use word processor and spreadsheets.
- CAD knowledge a plus.
- 2+ years of electronic manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of the pertinent standards and procedures.
- Ability to read electronic assembly prints.
- Ability to identify electronic components and read and understand their values.
- Understanding of all processes used in electronic manufacturing.
