Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our culinary offerings. If you have a strong background in food preparation, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for creating delicious dishes, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines - Cook food items according to established recipes and standards - Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and safety procedures - Monitor food quality during cooking process to ensure that dishes are cooked to perfection - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Qualifications: - Previous experience working as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques - Strong understanding of culinary techniques and flavor profiles - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Skills: - Food safety - Cooking skills - Catering experience - Restaurant experience - Meal preparation - Culinary knowledge - Food handling expertise - Food service experience - Familiarity with the food industry Join our team today and be part of an exciting culinary journey.
