Structural Engineer Role Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other infrastructure projects.2. Conduct structural calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.3. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholder to develop efficient and innovative solutions.5. Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements6. Employee will communicate to customers and supervisor if they are not able to meet required appointment time or agreed-upon deadline.

4. Produces high quality designs - the employee is able to cover all required project specifications.
5. Ability to delegate - the employee is able to delegate work to others. The employee should be clear in their role to complete work and is able to delegate work to others as required to meet project deadlines.6. Works well in a team environment - is able to work well with other CEI employees as well as employees from other companies to create structural designs that satisfy all parties.
Location:Located in the Denver metro area with work being completed in the office, remotely, and in the field. There will be 1-2 days per week of field inspections, as well as other in-person meetings to discuss project status as necessary.

Structural Engineer Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering
2. 0-4 years of relevant experience
3. EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
4. Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards or willingness and interest to learn
5. Vehicle that can be used for on site visits (mileage will be reimbursed)
6. Experienced with: Microsoft Office, Google suite, Mathcad, Bluebeam, Autodesk products (Revit/Autocad)
