Job Title: Accountant

Location: Fort Worth, TX (on site - 76109)

Pay: $25-$28/hr - Depending on Experience

Duration: 3 months (could be extended)

Job ID: 145802

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Job Description:

  • Assists in monthly financial close process by preparing and submitting journal entries

  • Reviews and approves monthly reconciliations and journal entries prepared by accounting staff

  • Performs monthly account reconciliations and review of general ledger accounts and funds for accuracy

  • Assists with preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements and related note disclosures

  • Prepares schedules and workpapers for annual external audit. Responds to auditors’ requests and provides supporting documentation as requested.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • 3 plus years accounting/auditing experience

  • MS Excel proficiency at an intermediate level preferred

  • Past Reconciliation experience

  • Journal entry experience
