SUMMARY:
- This position includes 3 days of paid time off
- The IA position will work on all student days during the school calendar year.
- The IA hourly rate is $20.00/hour

The Instructional Aide (IA) Duties Include:
- Provide instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff.
- Assist students in organizational skills as directed by teacher.
- Guide students in activities which are designed and assigned by the teacher.
- Supervise and assist students with all forms of technology.
- Reinforce student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.)
- Report and/or collect data for educational or behavioral reasons.
- Provide clerical support as needed.
- Supervise students as needed during all school functions.
- Process and maintain confidential student records and information.
- Assist with student testing and supervision of testing environments.
- Schedule or organize meets as directed by teacher or supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or supervisor .
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPRIENCE:
- Special Education Instructional Aide (IA) - Minimum of two-years of post secondary education (48 college credits)
- Regular/General Instructional Aide (IA) - High School Diploma or equivalency
- Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
CREDENTIALING :
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
