Property Maintenance Professionals is looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises. You will perform general maintenance tasks of great variety and Make Ready Move-in prepareations. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as requested by residents and Property Managers.
- Repair structural damage, such as windows, doors, and walls.
- Fix broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage.
- Address electrical issues, including shortages or severed wires.
- Maintain HVAC equipment for proper climate control.
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Perform Semi-Annual Inspections on all units
- Ensure safety by addressing potential hazards.
- Work with the Property Managers to perform and schedule unit turnovers and prep for new move-ins
- Report work performed or needed via iPad on third-party software
- Track hours and receipts for work performed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
- Painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC repair. Certification in any of the fields mentioned is a plus
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent
