We’re hiring a Bilingual Facilities Maintenance Tech for our Southeast Houston area client

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

  • Job Title:  Bilingual Facilities Maintenance
  • Location:  Southeast Houston area
  • Pay: $16-$18 per hour
  • Hours:  First Shift, 7am-5pm
  • Duration:  Temp-to-hire
  • Description of Duties:  This position is primarily responsible for performing general/preventive maintenance and repairs, as well as ground maintenance. Performs maintenance repairs such as: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.  Maintains working relationship with co-workers, property management and clients.  Completes daily work orders as scheduled.  Ability to use vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpet and blinds.  Power wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and doors.  Assists and performs installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, flooring mechanics and other minor building/community repairs.  Assisting in lawn and landscape maintenance and amenities.
  • Requirements:  One year experience in building maintenance or construction.  Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.  Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.  Must be able to operate motorized equipment. Valid drivers' license required. Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects. Work involves frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases.
