Seeking an experienced Application Engineer with Genset experience.  Excellent career opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Writes application notes
  • First line of contact for the internal Technical Sales Support group related to application questions
  • Ability to test the product in the application.
  • Have direct interactions with customers both remotely and in person once detailed application related questions arise.
  • Draft training material for internal and external use.
  • Provide marketing input to the Product Line Manager from Sales and Customer interactions.
  • Draft marketing material in conjunction with the Marketing Communications group.
  • Attends industry conferences and participates in industry societies
  • Conduct webinars & customer training seminars.
  • Attend internal training and coordination events.
  • Support sales to complete customer acceptance product use:
    • Answer application and product related questions prior to sale.
    • Provide training on product & application basics to sales and target customers.
    • For large or nuanced opportunities, communicate detailed technical information to proposal team or PLM for quoting. This may require a visit to the site.
    • Answer application related questions as they arise.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

                                                                            

 

 

 

Requirements

 

1.  Bachelor’s Degree.

2.  5 or more years of Genset Power System experience. 

3.  3 or more years of Power System Simulation and Coordination Software experience.
