As a Data Engineer, you will work in diverse settings to develop and design data pipelines that support end-to-end solutions. You will be responsible for building systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for various applications, including IT application usage, reporting, applicant processing, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Development: Design and develop data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution.
Artifact Maintenance: Develop and maintain artifacts such as schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms related to ETL processes.
Cloud Integration: Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insights.
Data Management: Manage production data within multiple datasets, ensuring fault tolerance and redundancy.
Data Flow Design: Create robust and functional data flows to support raw and expected data.
Technical Support: Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and data flows.
Collaboration: Work with the data engineering team to design and launch new features, including coordination and documentation of data flows and capabilities.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Strong knowledge of Database Administration
Expertise in Data Engineering principles
Experience with ETL Architecture and Development
Understanding of End-to-End Processes in data handling
Familiarity with API Development
Solid grasp of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)
Proficient in designing and implementing Data Pipelines
Provide effective Tier 3 Technical Support

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Database administration and development is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and utilizing push notifications.
A strong desire to learn and use the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to address real-world challenges, particularly those vital to national security.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
