The Michigan City Department of Water Works is in search of a Customer Service Cashier to complete a variety of customer service tasks in our billing office.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a customer service environment, as well as a high school diploma or its equivalent.  Experience in the use of computer systems and programs such as Office is required, as is the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and contractors in person, over the phone or in writing. 

The ideal candidate must be capable of handling multiple tasks and must have attention to detail.  A preferred candidate would have customer relationship management or accounting software experience, as well as secondary education in accounting, business or hospitality.
