Part-Time School BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

Location: Portsmouth, RI

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team on a part-time basis for the 2024-2025 school year in Portsmouth, RI. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with school staff and families to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans that support student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to students.
- Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse school community.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in behavior analysis.
