The company specializes in three core business segments: Commercial Janitorial Cleaning, Unarmed Security Guard Service/Patrols, and Commercial Facility Maintenance Services.

Overview: NSG, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and building systems across multiple locations in the Greater Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of trade skills related to facility maintenance, showcase proven technical knowledge, and possess a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing door hardware, painting, drywall, ceiling tiles, changing filters, changing belts, cleaning coils, general plumbing, and assisting with troubleshooting electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lights, lamps, pumps, and valves.
  • Check and ensure the functionality of multiple safety systems.
  • Document settings and readings.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work independently and have the ability to plan ahead.
  • Drive a company vehicle to various locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Self-starter who is results-oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and understand drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship is a major plus.
  • Valid Driver's License (with clean driving record).

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of commercial maintenance or construction experience, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, general maintenance is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
  • On-call rotation (1 week a month).

Compensation:

  • $28-$31 per hour.
  • Weekly pay every Friday.
