Restaurant Line Cook

Key Responsibilities
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle and store food properly to prevent contamination and spoilage.
- Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
- Prepare and cook menu items such as gyro sandwiches, gyro platters, and other Greek specialties according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with Greek cuisine.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as a team and help the team on downtime when not busy.
Pay is $17 an hour + tips
Hours are Mon-Sat 11 am-8 pm
