Location: Tampa, FL
At Room for Growth ABA we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing training and support to staff and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and inform intervention strategies.
- Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
2. Intervention and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior interventions.
- Adjust and adapt interventions as needed based on data and client progress.
- Provide direct intervention services when necessary.
3. Training and Supervision:
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff in the implementation of BIPs.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review client progress and modify plans as needed.
- Provide ongoing training to staff and families on behavior analysis principles and techniques.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and client progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation for clients, families, and other professionals.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to support client needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding client progress and recommendations.
*Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
