**Job Posting: Field Service Mechanic - Heavy Equipment**

 

**Location:** Sacramento Area

 

**Position:** Full-Time, Mobile

 

**About the Role:**

 

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to join our team and provide top-notch service for heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. This role involves servicing and maintaining customer equipment in the Sacramento area. As a fully mobile position, you will be equipped with a service truck to perform your duties efficiently.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

- Conduct quarterly inspections and routine maintenance on a variety of forklifts, including LPG and electric models, as well as electric pallet jacks.

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on-site.

- Ensure all work is completed to company standards and safety regulations.

- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and recommendations.

- Maintain accurate service records and reports.

 

**Requirements:**

 

- Proven experience as a mechanic, particularly with heavy equipment and forklifts.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

- Ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently in a mobile setting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
