Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. .

Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Use specialized tools such as pipe threading and tube bending machines to fabricate and install fire sprinkler components.
- Perform stick welding and soldering to join pipes and fittings.
- Use a caliper to measure and cut pipes to the correct length.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure fire sprinkler systems are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty fire sprinkler systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in fire sprinkler systems.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in pipe threading, tube bending, and soldering.
- Basic math skills to calculate pipe lengths and angles.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
