This includes ensuring the highest quality of care, efficient operations, and compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

The Home Health Care Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and clinical activities, managing staff, handling budgets, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in healthcare administration, excellent leadership skills, and a strong dedication to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Duties:

  • Creating and implementing policies and procedures for the organization
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety guidelines
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
  • Managing the organization’s budget and ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Communicating with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or complaints
  • Working with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients
  • Coordinating and overseeing patient services, ensuring they receive the necessary care
  • Develop trusted relationships and networks, leverage personal networks, and relate across both supervisory and leadership levels
  • Preparing and submitting reports on the organization’s operations
  • Staying updated with the latest developments in home health care management and applying them to the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid state Administrator License or meet the requirements to transfer Administrator License within 60 days.
  • A minimum of three years of management experience in a health care community environment.
  • 8 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a home health care environment
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school or therapy
  • Current state license as required by state or federal guidance
  • 4 years administrator experience in Home Health services strongly preferred
  • Advanced clinical skills as defined by accepted clinical standards, including ability to manage patient care episodes, changes to plan of care, clinical evaluations, and recommendations
  • Ability to set objectives, assess staff competencies, allocate work, facilitate team alignment, and create a motivating, safe working environment
  • Ability to quickly become proficient in enterprise applications with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
