Big Bing is a dine-in and take-out hibachi & Smoothie restaurant focusing on innovative cuisines located in Innovation Square, Port Saint Lucie, FL

Duties:

- Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Collaborate with the dietary department to develop menus that meet nutritional requirements and cater to specific dietary needs
- Plan and organize inventory control to minimize waste and ensure sufficient supplies are available
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a chef or cook in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
- Knowledge of kitchen management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious meals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation
- Creative mindset for menu planning and developing new dishes
